There are weekends away, and then there are weekends at Silverstreams Lodge & Cottages.
This past weekend was a perfect example of just how special this property is for bringing people together. A group of 26 guests booked out the entire Lodge side of Silverstreams, taking over the Main Lodge, our two Villas and two Cottages for a full weekend of celebrating, relaxing and enjoying everything the property has to offer.
And thankfully, the weather played its part.
With blue skies, incredible views over the gorge, live music, good food and a great group of people, the atmosphere throughout the weekend was exactly what Silverstreams is all about.
The Perfect Setup for a Group Getaway
Booking out the full Lodge side gives a group exclusive use of:
- The Main Lodge, sleeping up to 10 guests
- Two Villas, sleeping 4 guests each
- Two Cottages, sleeping 4 guests each
That means up to 26 guests can stay together, while still having their own spaces to retreat to throughout the weekend.
It creates the perfect balance: everyone is close enough to spend the weekend together, but there is plenty of space to spread out, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Good Food, Live Music & Five-Star Reviews
A weekend like this is also only as good as the people helping to make it happen.
Our Silverstreams team, together with Chef Ed, made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. From keeping everyone well looked after to Chef Ed pumping out fresh pizzas and delicious food for the group, the weekend had that relaxed, effortless feeling that makes a getaway truly memorable.
Add live music into the mix, and it was a pretty special weekend.
The best part? We received only five-star reviews from the group afterwards — and judging by the amount of fun had throughout the weekend, we think it is safe to say Silverstreams delivered.
